Galveston Lawyer Skewers Bill Gates Email
Over on Galveston Lawyer Blog ("A 35-year old attorney in Galveston, Texas. Single. Registered Democrat. ACLU and NRA member (I support ALL the Amendments)."), said Lawyer has held up the Bill Gates email and done some serious investigation into the personalities behind the fakimonials. He, of course, references the Snopes article on the same. Here's a snip from his post:
You know the one--Bill Gates wants to give you a gazillion dollars for merely forwarding this idiotic email to your entire address book. Well goddamn it, I'm fed up! Below is the response I replied to the sender and all the recipients of the last one I received, which coincidentally was about the time I had reached the tipping point of total, mindless, deranged boredom with my actual employment-related activities today. I also included a www.snopes.com article on these things too, just to supplement my own investigation and brilliant analysis. Enjoy and feel free to shamelessly plagiarize from it the next time the asshole in accounting forwards another one of these things to you
Goddamn it, good work!
Oh, yea, we covered the Bill Gates letter back in 1998 as well.
